We are a teaching clinic. This means that treatment is done by students. The students are supervised by qualified practitioners. Our clinics are open from September to July every year.
Before you can be assigned for treatment, you must attend a diagnosis appointment. The fee for this appointment is approximately $155.00 for x-rays and treatment planning information. Following the diagnosis appointment, you may have to wait up to 3 months before you are assigned to a student. We try to ensure that the time you wait is not too long.
Our teaching clinics strive to provide the best care for you but there are some treatments that our students cannot provide you may be referred to a private practice provider. You may need to see a private dentist for those treatments.

We need at least 24 hours notice to rebook appointments you have made. To cancel an appointment, please call your student or (780) 492-5182.
If you miss up to three (3) appointments, we may stop your treatment, and refer you to private practice. No babysitting services are available.
Paying for your Appointment
Fees will be charged for all services performed. Fees in our clinics have been reduced to approximately half of private practice providers. Payment for treatment is by cash, cheque, debit card or credit card. If you have dental insurance, please bring a signed insurance claim form to your first appointment. There may be some treatments that are not covered by your insurance. You will be responsible for their cost. If you have concerns with your fee payments, you should discuss this with your student.
