MSc in Medical Sciences (Oral Biology)
MSc in Medical Sciences (Oral Biology) is offered for post-DDS applicants or for those proceeding from a BSc or equivalent degree. Applicants to the program must identify a faculty member willing to supervise them prior to application to the program.
Entrance Requirements:
Candidates for the MSc degree in Medical Sciences are accepted under the general regulations of the Medical Sciences Graduate Program. Completion of a university degree is required, with a grade point average of at least 3.0 (or equivalent qualification) in the last 60 units of course weight of their program.
The program is research-oriented, consisting of didactic courses, original research carried out under supervision, and preparation and completion of a thesis. It is not a clinical program leading to clinical specialization and is unrelated to licensure. Admission to graduate programs is dependent upon the recommendation of the department’s Graduate Committee.
Candidates should be prepared to support themselves for the duration of their selected program, although funding from scholarships and studentships may be obtained on a competitive basis.

Proof of proficiency in the English language is required if English is not your native language. The minimum TOEFL Score requirement is 580 (paper-based) or 95 (internet-based).
